Thank you for choosing trjm.om for your certified translation needs. Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform. By using trjm.om, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

⚠️ Important Legal Notice — Please Read Before Continuing

The trjm.om platform is an intermediary software platform (Marketplace) only. The owning company, TAMKEEN DIGITAL LLC, is a limited liability company registered in the Communications and Information Technology sector, and:

  • Is not a legal translation office and does not hold any license from the Ministry of Justice.
  • Does not provide translation services itself.
  • Does not employ translators or linguistic reviewers.
  • Does not issue any certified or stamped translation itself.

Certified stamped translations are produced by independent legal translation officeslicensed by the Omani Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs under Royal Decree 18/2003. These offices are independent contractorscontracting with you directly through our platform.

The platform's role is strictly limited to:

  1. Pre-onboarding administrative verification of each office's license with the Ministry of Justice.
  2. Presenting Requests to qualified offices and facilitating acceptance.
  3. Facilitating payment through the Thawani gateway.
  4. Securely transferring files between the parties.
  5. Providing an internal communication channel and Request lifecycle management.

Everything beyond this is the sole responsibility of the office.

1. Definitions

"User" or "You"Any natural person using the platform as a customer to order translation services.
"Office"A licensed legal translation office providing translation services through the platform.
"Service"The Certified Stamped Translation service provided through the platform.
"Request"An individual translation contract created by the User on the platform.
"Original Document"The file uploaded by the User for translation.
"Delivery Document"The completed stamped translation produced by the Office.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

  • By ticking the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions" box at registration, you provide a legally binding acceptance under the Omani Electronic Transactions Law (Royal Decree 69/2008).
  • We retain an electronic record of your acceptance, including timestamp, IP address, user agent, and the version number accepted.
  • When the Terms are updated, we will notify you by email and may require re-acceptance on next sign-in.

3. Eligibility

To use the platform, you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years old.
  2. Have full legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  3. Provide accurate and complete information (name, email, phone).
  4. Use the platform for lawful purposes within the Sultanate of Oman.
  5. Not have had your account previously suspended by us.

4. Your Account

4.1 Account Creation

  • You may create only one account using a unique email address.
  • We send a one-time OTP to verify your email.
  • Choose a strong password of at least 8 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, and digits.

4.2 Account Security

  • You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Any activity performed from your account is deemed to have been performed by you.
  • Notify us immediately at info@trjm.om if you suspect a breach.

4.3 Automatic Lockout

  • After 5 failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked.
  • Sessions expire after 24 hours of idle time or 30 days maximum.

5. Our Service

5.1 Nature of the Platform (Critical)

trjm.om is an online marketplace software platform only. We do not produce translations, employ translators, or hold any legal translation license.

Every translation you receive is issued by an independent legal translation officelicensed by the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs under Royal Decree 18/2003. The offices on our platform are independent contractors operating on their own account.

5.2 The Tripartite Contractual Relationship

The moment an office accepts your Request, two legally separate relationships arise:

The platform is not a party to the Translation Contract, does not guarantee it, and does not interfere in its technical execution.

5.3 Scope of the First Release

  • Service type: Certified Stamped Translation only.
  • Language pairs: Arabic ↔ English.
  • Delivery: Digital only. No hard copies or shipping in this release.
  • Geographic scope: Sultanate of Oman only.

5.4 What the Service Does Not Include

  • Live or interpreting services.
  • Real-time content translation.
  • Attestation services by embassies (these are your responsibility).

6. Submitting a Translation Request

6.1 Order Flow

  1. You upload your Original Document and select the source and target languages.
  2. The platform automatically extracts word and page counts.
  3. The final price including VAT (if applicable) is calculated.
  4. You pay via the Thawani gateway.
  5. The Request is made available to qualified offices.
  6. An office accepts the Request and begins work.
  7. You receive the Delivery Document and review it.
  8. You confirm receipt or request a revision (one revision only in this release).

6.2 Your Declarations on Upload

By uploading any document, you declare and warrant that:

  • The document is authentic and accurate, neither forged nor altered.
  • You have the legal right to process and translate it.
  • Its content does not violate Omani laws.
  • You will not request a defective translation intending to mislead any official authority.

Any breach may expose you to liability under the Cybercrime Law (Royal Decree 12/2011).

7. Prohibited Content

You may not upload or request the translation of:

  • Forged or altered documents.
  • Pornographic or indecent content.
  • Content that offends the Sultanic Person, the Islamic religion, or public order.
  • Incitement, terrorism, or content promoting violence.
  • Documents belonging to third parties without their written authorization.
  • Files containing malware or viruses.
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property of others.

We reserve the right to reject content, close accounts, and report to authorities. Every file is scanned by ClamAV.

8. Pricing and Payment

8.1 Currency and Tax

  • All prices are in Omani Rials (OMR).
  • VAT (5%) applies if enabled, shown as a separate line.
  • The displayed price is the final price.

8.2 Payment Method

  • The platform uses the Thawani gateway exclusively.
  • We do not store full card data; only card type and last 4 digits.
  • If automatic analysis fails, the Request enters "Awaiting Quote" for manual pricing.

8.3 Invoices

  • An electronic tax invoice is issued on successful payment.
  • You may download it from your account.

9. Translation Execution

9.1 Office Acceptance

  • After payment, your Request is made available to qualified offices.
  • The first office to accept becomes responsible. You cannot select a specific office in this release.

9.2 Timeline

  • No fixed turnaround in this release; the office determines the time required.
  • You can track status anytime from your account.

9.3 Communication with the Office

  • All communication occurs exclusively through the platform.
  • Direct off-platform contact to bypass the contract is strictly prohibited.

10. Delivery and Review

10.1 Translation Delivery

  • The platform makes the signed, stamped Delivery Document available.
  • You receive an email notification when ready.
  • Download via a secure link valid for 15 minutes.

10.2 Review Window

  • Starts the moment delivery reaches you.
  • Default duration: 72 hours.
  • You may confirm receipt or request one revision.

10.3 Auto-Completion

  • If you take no action, the Request is automatically completed and becomes non-refundable.
  • We remind you by email 24 hours before the window expires.

10.4 Revision Limit

  • Only one revision is allowed per Request.
  • If unsatisfied, contact Support.

11.2 Refund Processing

  • Processed through the Thawani gateway to the original payment method.
  • Typically 3 to 14 business days.

11.3 Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Law

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Omani Consumer Protection Law(Royal Decree 66/2014). You may request remediation, refund, or refer the matter to the Consumer Protection Authority (Hotline: 80079009).

12. Certified Translation and Separation of Liability

12.1 What "Certified" Means

The translation carries the office name, its MOJ license number, the translator's name, and the office seal, per Article 6 of Royal Decree 18/2003, and holds the same evidentiary value as the original documentunless proven otherwise (Article 9).

12.2 The Office — Not the Platform — is Legally Responsible

As a software intermediary, trjm.om bears absolutely no responsibility for:

  • Accuracy of the translation or any linguistic error.
  • Validity of the stamp and signature.
  • Credibility before any authority or court.
  • Acceptance by any embassy, ministry, university, or recipient.
  • The office's adherence to deadlines or service quality.
  • Any material or moral damage arising from a translation error.

All these responsibilities rest exclusively and entirely on the office.

12.3 The Platform's Limited Role

What the platform warrants is only:

  • Pre-onboarding administrative verification of the validity of the office's license.
  • Reasonable technical availability of the platform.
  • Technical confidentiality of your data per the Privacy Policy.
  • Secure payment processing through Thawani.

12.4 Mechanism for Complaints Against an Office

  1. Use the in-platform revision system first.
  2. If unresolved, contact info@trjm.om.
  3. Your direct legal recourse is against the office. You may:
    • File a complaint with the Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs.
    • File a complaint with the Consumer Protection Authority (80079009).
    • Bring a civil action before the competent court.
  4. The platform's monetary liability shall not exceed the commission received from that Request.

12.5 Confidentiality

  • Offices are bound by professional confidentiality under the law.
  • The office may not use your data except to fulfill the Request.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1 Your Document Remains Yours

  • The Original Document remains your full property.
  • You grant us and the office a limited license to process it only to fulfill the Request.

13.2 Platform Ownership

  • The name trjm.om, its logo, design, texts, and code are owned by TAMKEEN DIGITAL LLC.
  • Copying or reusing them without written consent is prohibited.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 Service "As Is"

We provide the platform "as is" without any express or implied warranties beyond what Omani law requires.

14.2 What We Do Not Guarantee

  • Absolute accuracy of automatic text extraction (OCR).
  • Continuous availability of the platform.
  • Performance of third-party services (Thawani, Cloudflare, Google, Resend).

14.3 Liability Cap

Since the platform earns only a commission, our monetary liability shall not exceed whichever of the following is lower:

  • The total commissions earned from your transactions in the preceding 6 months; or
  • The amount of OMR 100.

We are not liable for any consequential damages. Any liability relating to the translation itself lies with the office alone.

14.4 Force Majeure

We bear no responsibility for delays arising from events beyond our control (internet outages, gateway failures, natural disasters, government orders, pandemics).

15. Modifications to These Terms

  • We may amend the Terms to reflect legal or service developments.
  • We notify you of material amendments by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
  • Continued use after the new version takes effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Suspending or Terminating Your Account

16.1 Termination by You

You may close your account anytime by contacting info@trjm.om.

16.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations, unlawful use, false information, or fraud.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.

17.2 Jurisdiction

  • Disputes fall under the competent Omani courts, primarily the courts of Muscat Governorate.
  • Individual consumers may refer disputes to the Consumer Protection Authority.

17.3 Amicable Resolution First

Contact us first at info@trjm.om to resolve disputes amicably.

18. General Provisions

  • No Waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Severability: If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • Authoritative Language: In case of discrepancy, the Arabic text prevails.
